Dr. Bukhari currently serves as the Head of News for South Punjab at 24 News and Rohi TV, where he provides strategic editorial leadership and oversees all administrative operations for the region. This role is the culmination of a career marked by significant tenures at Pakistan's leading media houses.
His extensive experience includes a six-year tenure as an Editor at Dunya News and a 12-year period as Chief Reporter at the Daily Express. During his time at the Daily Express, he authored the highly popular and incisive political diary on South Punjab for 15 years. His byline has also graced the columns "Qabool-e-Aam" in the Daily Express and "Zuban e Khalq" in the Daily Dunya, reflecting his profound ability to connect with a wide readership.
Dr. Bukhari's journalistic journey began in 1991 at Nawa-e-Waqt, where he honed his skills in various capacities, including Sub-Editor, Staff Reporter, and In-charge of Aiwan-e-Waqt. This foundational experience instilled in him a rigorous commitment to journalistic ethics and excellence.
Beyond the Newsroom: Analyst, Anchor, and Trainer
A highly sought-after political analyst and anchor, Dr. Bukhari brings his deep insights to the screen, hosting notable programs such as "Rohi Rog" on Rohi TV and "Sohna Pakistan" on Waseeb TV.
